Our Partners

Kuokkalan Vetehiset is a sea scout group operating in Jyväskylä. We share the common scouting values with traditional land-based local groups, but we emphasize activity on vessels. Scouting is the largest youth organization in Finland that is politically and religiously independent.

Jyväskylä Parish

Jyväskylä Parish is our local group’s background community. The Parish supports our efforts by providing us with our meeting place and activity aid. We also cooperate in hosting events. In accordance with scouting’s religion guidelines, our activities are open to everyone, and it doesn’t require being a part of any religious group.

Päijänteen Partiopurjehdus Ltd.

Päijänteen Partiopurjehdus Ltd. owns and maintains S/Y Evita which KuVe uses. Our local group works tightly with PPP and is the company’s majority owner.

This company founded in 2011 has individual sea scouts from Jyväskylä as skippers and minority owners of the company. The company has enabled sailing operations in KuVe for over 10 years.
